Goal: based on satellite images and information from IoT devices in the field, to give the farmer information on possible adverse events and soil conditions

Use case

Farm Scan

Together with our Slovenian partner Termodron, we are building the Farm Scan platform, devoted to precision agriculture and sustainability.

Elif Lab in this project deals with:

Satellite data and images retrieval and analysis (Sentinel 1, Sentinel 2, SMAP…)
Field data analysis
Geolocated weather data retrieval and analysis
Creation of algorithms and prescription maps for precision agriculture
Creation of algorithms for predicting possible adverse events

Farm Scan has been selected in the DIGIFED open call Standard Application Experiment and is currently funded in the context of the European Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, grant agreement No 872088.
