TALOS
TALOS, acronym for Transformable Adaptive Lines Optimized System, is a manufacturing platform designed to make assembly lines dynamic, flexible, and intelligent – overcoming the limitations of traditional fixed workstations.
In the pilot project carried out by Elif Lab and Eureka System, the HMLV (High-Mix Low-Volume) assembly line includes:
mobile workbenches autonomously moved by Helko AMRs,
a production logic managed by an AI-based planner,
full integration with existing IT/OT systems.
Thanks to this adaptive infrastructure, the entire line can be reconfigured in real time according to incoming orders, boosting both flexibility and efficiency.

TALOS uses Bayesian models and constrained scheduling algorithms to:
optimize the production sequence,
balance workloads across mobile workbenches,
dynamically define AMR Helko routes based on operational priorities.
The TALOS project has indirectly received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation action programme, via the EARASHI Open Call #2 issued and executed under the EARASHI project (Grant Agreement no. 101069994).
